Letterman introduces next week’s Close-Up Magic Week
Posted May 15th, 2010 at 12:24 AM by Steve Cohen in Television

Letterman just read the line-up for next week’s Close-Up Magic Week on the Late Show.

When he read my name and called me “the Millionaires’ Magician,” he raised his eyebrows, and stared at the camera for several seconds. The whole studio audience called out “oooohhh.” Letterman then said, “Maybe he can make the national debt disappear.”

Just saw the show. That was nuts… literally. :)

I think half the magic is thinking up something like that. Reminded me of turducken.

Just watched the performance and am very impressed. You were very calm and didn’t act intimidated like a lot of people are on his show. He can be rough on magicians and I was glad to see you did so well.

Congratulations!
